In my career as an emergency room doctor and as a physician leader, I have come to realize that today's healthcare environment is not intuitively one in which physicians can thrive.

In order not only to survive, but to rediscover joy and fulfillment in our work, we're going to need to flip the script. Welcome to Medicine is my attempt to do just that, creating a space where together we can rebuild a future for emergency medicine doctors in our country.
